My name is Josiah Schulz, but please, just call me JOJO 😉
To tell you the truth, I originally purchased my camera & equipment with the sole intention for it to be used to take photos of ME! I have a very passionate interest in both fashion and photography, and I wanted to be able to present my vibrant style and personality through incredible photos.
As time progressed, I came to an amazing realization: I receive JUST AS MUCH if not MORE satisfaction from taking great photos of others as opposed to myself.
Ever since this moment, I have completely dedicated myself to perfecting my craft.
WHAT SETS ME APART from any other photographer is that I SEE YOUR VISION!! I know exactly how to compose a perfectly aesthetically-pleasing and dramatic photo, just as I would want taken of myself.
I specialize in CANDID photography, meaning I will rarely ever ask you to look directly at the camera. I want all my photos to TELL A STORY. Doing this ensures authenticity and reduces any stress or awkwardness clients may have when traditionally posing for photos.
Although I primarily focus on FASHION photography, you can be assured that I have ample experience in formal, couple, and commercial styles of photography.
Since the setting/background plays such a large role in my photos, all of my work is done ON LOCATION. I generally have plenty of cool and unique locations in mind already when you book, however, recommendations are always welcome.
My standards for myself and my work are extremely high. I genuinely love what I do, and can guarantee you that I will never settle for anything below my personal standards. I want these photos to be perfect just as bad as you!
